The Theta Omicron chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at MIT is where women empower women. Among our sisterhood of over 100 members on campus, you can always find a sister ready to celebrate your achievements or lend you a hand when things get tough. Globally, we raise our voices to combat domestic and sexual violence. Our philanthropy promotes healthy relationships within our MIT community and raises awareness of the characteristics and dangers of domestic violence through events like Walk-A-Mile.
You can find us everywhere–from our house on Commonwealth Ave to labs in Kendall Square to internships in NYC and San Francisco. We’re publishing papers, designing rockets, researching cancer treatments, building devices, and programming apps. We have sisters running marathons, creating artwork, choreographing dances, and crushing it on the court. Our passion knows no end in everything that we do and neither does our support for each other. As our motto says, “Together, we seek the heights.”
