ZETA DELTA
Delta Phi Epsilon is the newest sorority at MIT, established in 2015, and we’ve spent the last decade cultivating a community where individuality is celebrated, and each member feels empowered to be their best self. Whether we’re studying in the library, relaxing on Killian Court, or sailing on the Charles, our members are known for bringing our genuine selves to everything we do—with boldness, kindness, and a whole lot of heart.
At DPhiE, our defining trait is our commitment to authenticity. We believe in creating space where everyone feels seen, supported, and free to grow into the best version of themselves. Grounded in empathy, encouragement, and genuine connection, our sisterhood thrives on diversity, welcoming members from all backgrounds and life experiences. DPhiE continuously works to build a culture where people feel like they can truly belong.
We empower members to lead with purpose and passion. From executive board roles to national committees, conferences, and campus initiatives, our members take part in countless opportunities to grow personally, gain professional leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact in the chapter and the Cambridge community.
In 2016, our chapter made history by drafting the first version of Delta Phi Epsilon’s Trans Women and Gender Non-Binary Inclusion Policy. It was officially adopted by our International Governing Board in 2017, solidifying our belief that trans women, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals have a meaningful and permanent place in our sisterhood.
An exciting new chapter is beginning here for DPhiE at MIT. Our chapter will be reorganizing in Fall 2025 with the support of our International Headquarters and the MIT Panhellenic community. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to reconnect with our core values and welcome a new generation of members ready to lead, support one another, and create something truly special here at MIT. We’re proud of where we’ve been—and even more excited for what’s next.
If you’re seeking a sisterhood that’s bold, inclusive, and driven by purpose, DPhiE is the place for you. Join us as we embark on this next chapter and help us shape a legacy that’s distinctly ours.
